Our sweet Niecer stayed with us from Friday night until Monday Night. She turned 2 at the end of April, and she is just so wonderful. We had lots of fun times getting to try out our new camera.
She learned to say Auntie pretty quick. She had been saying it a little before she stayed with us because she has seen her other aunties pretty recently, but she certainly mastered it this last weekend.
Hubs and I made a list of things that we would like to do with her before she had to leave. I am unsure of what we all got done on this list, but we certainly had fun. A few things that we did were go on lots of walks, play on the playground near our home, see lots of pretty flowers, went to church (she was sooo good), baked cookies for her daddy for Father's Day, taught her the Hippo Song(HippO), Mercy is Falling, and I've Got Joy, took lots of pictures, played with Nana and Papa, took 2 baths, and probably some other stuff too.
So Hubs and I were responsible for a human for about 72 hours. That's a few steps up from a plant (the African Violet that Hubs got for me).
We will have to put some pictures later and on Book of Faces. Meanwhile I will leave you with this thought. (Nothing implied by it, just good advice)
Advice for the Bride and Groom: Misty of the Dew(y) Tall of Sons gave us this advice when we were married. Don't both of you yell at the same time - unless there is a fire!
I'm so glad all three of you had fun! You earn an A+++ for your care of a human! :)
