The way of the turtle....
This is a funny story. I was washing my hands the other night after an appointment with the throne. I like to use bar soap, because it is hard to find liquid soap these days that is not anti-bacterial. Now a flash back: A long time ago when I turned 11 or 12 I had a joint birthday party with my friend Sara. We had an ice cream cake with Tweety and Marvin the Martian (I think). It was a fun party with all of our closest friends. We recieved presents of various sorts including flowers and sparkly glycerin animal soaps. There were frogs and turtles... We each got three. I picked a purple frog, blue turtle, and pink turtle. (I had a thing for turtles.)
I was unsure if I should ever use these beautiful soaps. So I kept them for 12 years. The perfect moment came. Hubs and I ran out of soap in our bathroom. What fun. We used the frog first. It was kind of fun to rub your hands on this frog to get them clean. Currently we are using the blue turtle.
It is fairly large. It does not quite fit in our soap holder. I think it is fun, and the soap smells pretty good too.
Before the blue turtle we were using the pink turtle. It was smaller and fit in your hands and the soap dish better than the blue one. That was the same turtle that I used on the fateful day when the pink turtle went... the way of the turtle.
I was washing my hands and the turtle soap slipped out of them and flew across the top of the toilet (the part you lift up to check why the toilet hasn't stopped running) and somehow curved and flew directly into the toilet. The toilet was still flushing when I started washing my hands.
So the pink turtle soap got to do a couple 360's in the bowl before going the way of the turtle.

Yay for being able to leave comments! :)
