First Post

So I wanted to see what the blogging world was all about. I never thought that I would start one of these, but here we go.  Some of my friends have started blogs recently, and my sister in law has one too.  I really enjoy reading them, so we will see how this goes.   I feel compelled to add headers and an introduction of what is to follow (mostly naming the bolded headers.) However, I shall resist... maybe just the introduction  because I dislike writing those.

Productivity
I have had the joy lately of resting.  I have been working only half-time until the new schedule at work starts.  This means there is a lot of  down time where I wish I was being productive, so does the Hubs.  Some things on the please produce list are:  Cleaning the home, much much much laundry, applying for new jobs, getting graduation thank you notes addressed and sent, purchasing lactose, changing the oil in my car, and planning surprise trips for Hubs. 

Summer Excitement

There are several things that I am excited about this summer. One is camping. Hubs and I really enjoy camping. It is fun to go with family and by ourselves. It would probably be lots of fun with friends too, we would like to try that.   State parks here we come.  We were hoping to go this weekend. Rain is the forecast.  It looks promising on the radar as well. Since setting up and tearing down in the wet weather is un-fun we decided to skip the Maples. 

We even get to camp with Hubs' cousins later this summer.  Super excited about that. I will get to meet more of his family.  Also my sister-in-law is having a camping birthday party. How cool.  I guess a majority of the excitement this year is camping.  There is a wedding, second anniversary, and there are unknown adventures coming up.

Blog Direction
I am unsure of the direction of this blog. I guess thus far it is just some thoughts and plans.  We will see if I get adventurous and post baking and cooking adventures. Probably some updates of camping will come.  Also, just updates on our lives.
