Since it has been a while we will do some short updates.
Hubs needed to work in town the weekend of the 23rd. So I got to play all weekend with some of my best friends. We are kind of silly and call ourselves the STAR because there are five of us and five points to a star. We had a wonderful time just loving on one another. We are friends from our freshman year of college. After that we ended up getting separated, but we still keep in contact and pray for one another. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful prayer team on my side. We try to get together often. (Which may be 2 times a year if we are lucky). It is always a good time saying quotes from shows we watched and getting updated on our lives.
Our personal PT was a little late to arrive because she lives many hours away from where we were. So it was just the four of us most of Friday. We had some salad and stopped by the Amiots to pick up a pillow and toothbrush. I can be pretty forgetful. (Especially when we had gotten ants again!) Yikes. (We finally have them under control).
When the personal PT arrived we stayed up even later and talked some more. There was a storm that woke us up. Well most of us. We thought all of us were awake and realized in the morning that someone may have been sleep talking. She had ear plugs in after all. We took our time getting ready and went shopping. We then got some groceries for lunch and had delicious wraps. Then we got dressed up and went to Scheels. 3 of us went on the Ferris Wheel . After that we all went to Johnny Carinos and had delicious pasta. Really recommend going there if you like creative pasta dishes. We enjoyed that immensely, and came back and had more fun times talking.
Sunday it was hard to say good bye, but God is good and will bring us together again soon. Love all those ladies very much.
